- To assist Canada Health Infoway in achieving its goal of a national Electronic Health Record(EHR) system, Business Innovation provided Architectural leadership for pan-Canadian healthcare initiatives like; the EHR Blueprint Development, Service Delivery Location Registry Definition, the IRIS Concept Definition, and the Client and Provider Registry Interoperability Design and Standards Development. Additionally Business Innovation conducted EHR Interoperability and Location Registry Definition workshops to achieve rapid consensus on initiative visions, requirements, and design specifications. - Electronic Public Health Surveillance


- Business Innovation partnered with IBM Canada, Scientific Technologies Corp (STC), Amaranth Corp and Science Applications International Corp (SAIC) to win an eight month long competitive procurement process. The purpose was to design and integrate technologies for a system that would form the foundation of a Pan-Canadian Public Health Surveillance Program. This initiative is important to provide the ability to collect, share and analyze health information to assist public health officials to better manage public health outbreaks such as SARS, West Nile Virus, Avian Influenza and other communicable diseases. This System will enable Canada to better manage outbreaks through early detection, rapid verification and appropriate response to epidemic-prone and emerging disease threats.

- Business Innovation utilized their Rapid Collaboration Workshop methodology to design an enterprise architecture and perform a package selection that would enhance Upbeat's business intelligence systems. Business Innovation then delivered a cutting edge data warehouse application and custom ecommerce website (www.upbeatinc.com) along with an Enterprise Application Integration tool to integrate these new systems with Upbeat's legacy systems.

- Business Innovation partnered with Endeca Technologies Inc. in 2005 to provide consulting and integration services to clients interested in Endeca's proprietary applications. - Royal and SunAlliance Canada engaged Business Innovation in order to build consensus on and further define their Change Management Program for 2005 utilizing Business Innovation's Rapid Collaboration Workshop methodology. Business Innovation helped Royal and SunAlliance prioritize and scope their 2005 Change Management Program, and established and staffed a Program Management Office to facilitate Royal and SunAlliance through the change management process. - PGA Magazine, the official magazine of the Professional Golf Association, engaged Business Innovation to enhance their web presence with a website that could be easily maintained and updated with relevant material. In addition to designing and building (www.pgamagazine.com) Business Innovation provided PGA Magazine with a content management solution that allowed for easy updating and posting of new articles and press releases.

- Business Innovation was engaged by Abacus Travel to assist customers in the purchasing process for resort vacation weeks around the world by designing and developing (www.pricedrivers.com).

- Business Innovation's Rapid Collaboration Workshop methodology guided Empirix through an application package selection process, incorporating product demos with facilitated workshop sessions, to determine the necessary scenarios and requirements. Additionally Business Innovation assisted Empirix in establishing their long-term vision for their lead to booking project. - Business Innovation provided Stakeholder Collaboration Strategy consultation to the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) on the Public Health Information System (iPHIS). Through a series of Rapid Collaboration Workshops we assisted the CIPHS Collaborative in determining which pan Canadian stakeholders should be involved in consultations for iPHIS version 7.0. In addition we assisted the CIPHS Collaborative in determining the Stakeholder Collaboration Strategy for gathering input from the stakeholders for iPHIS version 7. - A major golf community with more then 2000 homes engaged Business Innovation to build an online marketing presence enabling them to build a profile of information on prospective buyers. By integrating with Business Innovation's interactive marketing product, the site (www.arrowcreek.com) was able collected data through user interactions, answers to targeted questions, and registration data. Utilizing this information, the site was able to calculate each prospects buying readiness and area of interest. Additionally the interactive marketing product provided the functionality to generate reports and rich HTML e-mails automatically targeted to the appropriate customer segments.
