PGA Magazine, the official magazine of the Professional Golf Association, approached Business Innovation with a vision of becoming the leading online golf industry news source. Business Innovation and PGA Magazine agreed on a two-phased approach to achieve this vision:
1) designing a newspaper-like layout for the content
2) building a content management system (CMS) managing updates to the site any time of day or night

We first built out a static, HTML version of the website, updating the design and content. This working version of the site allowed PGA Magazine to keep the content fresh while defining the requirements of the CMS. Once this first version of the site went live, Business Innovation tackled the larger task of designing and developing a custom CMS.

This solution provided the business users of PGA Magazine the ability to load content onto the website through a web browser. With the possible addition of more than a hundred pages of content per week, this system needed to be simple enough to enable the quick loading of content, but robust enough to support the 16,000 PGA professionals that rely on the website as their source for industry news.

Since launching the dynamic website and content management system, Business Innovation successfully trained the PGA Magazine web team. Their in-house team is now completely managing all articles added, deleted, and edited on the site.
