Christopher Orr - Vice President

Chris is an expert in the design and delivery of cost-effective, high-performance information technology infrastructures and applications to address complex business problems.

While at Sunnybrook Hospital, Chris was responsible for all health information (electronic) and led a small working group responsible for paper-based information. During this time he explored relevant Information Management requirements: privacy, data retention, rights to access, etc.

Chris possesses a strong networking and telecommunications background, with a proven ability to build and manage creative, highly energized, focused teams. Chris has extensive experience in all facets of the project lifecycle, from initial feasibility analysis and conceptual design through documentation, implementation, user training, and enhancement. Chris is a strong strategic thinker and team builder, with core competencies of IT organization/management reengineering, high-level business process mapping, and information security and privacy.

Most recently, Chris has been working as the VP of North American Operations for iSOFT Group, an international health software company. Chris has also worked at the Ontario Air Ambulance Base Hospital Program at Sunnybrook and Women's College Health Sciences Center where he was instrumental in the design and development of several healthcare applications, smartBOX Computers, and the Toronto Emergency Medical Services.
